Royal Naval Patrol Service

The Royal Naval Patrol Service had its headquarters in Sparrow's Nest, Lowestoft during World War 2 and there is a memorial to those members who have no known grave but the sea in Belle Vue Park, Lowestoft.

A brief account of the Royal Naval presence at five 'stone frigates' in Lowestoft during WW2 can be found on the RNPS Associaton's website.
